Warscribe
Delete your data
Last updated: 26 June 2026
This page explains how to delete your data from Warscribe's apps (Warscribe: Warhammer 40,000
and our other tabletop trackers). Warscribe is local-first, so most of your data never leaves your
device, and you can remove the rest yourself or ask us to erase it.
What data we hold
- On your device only: your army lists, settings and in-game tracking are stored
locally and are not sent anywhere unless you turn on Cloud Sync.
- Cloud Sync (only if you enable it): your saved lists, game history and settings,
stored on our servers against an anonymous device token and a sync code you choose. No name, email
or password is involved.
- Feedback: any message and screenshots you send us from inside an app.
How to delete it
- On your device (instant): clear the app's or browser's storage to remove all
locally stored lists, settings and game data.
- Cloud Sync data (self-service): deleting a list or game inside the app also
removes it from Cloud Sync; and disconnecting/unlinking a device stops it syncing.
- Erase everything we hold (by request): email
support@warscribe.app from the device you
sync with, or include your sync code, and ask us to delete your data.
What is deleted, what is kept
- Deleted on request: your Cloud Sync data (saved lists, game history and settings)
and any feedback you have sent us. We action deletion requests within 30 days.
- Kept: nothing else is retained about you. Standard server logs may briefly hold
technical request data (such as IP addresses) for security, and are not used to identify you.
